Current theme: D is for Dionysus (Greek Mythology)
For ABC Wednesday
Revelry abounds
Ritualistic madness
Through hedonism
Is it really bad?
To unfetter inhibition
Now free of worry
The God of Wine calls
Drop your guard and run wild
Bacchanalian
Frenzied mind twists
Freedom devolves to madness
Chaos of the heart

About Aquaman ...
Is he the god of the sea?
Superhero ... not!
Wouldn't we all like to be free of all inhibition and run mad now and then? No wonder the Greeks had a god for it!
Meant to add this -
On behalf of the team, thanks for taking part in ABC Wednesday this week! :)
You obviously hark back to a much less inhibited era. I must say I'm quite cosy with inhibition! And I don't like wine!
The final stanza brings the circle around - Nicely done!
My college town of New Paltz, NY USA had a bar called Bacchus. I spent a little time there...
