Protectorate of Pharoahs
Cat-headed woman
The Sun her domain
Bastet guards the solar god Ra
Fierce in her battles
But all power wanes
Unification creates change
Bastet is replaced
Sekhmet gains power
Her influence far reaching
New goddess arises

I remember seeing statues of Bastet and thinking she was rather cosy looking. Apparently, I was wrong!
