Ursa Major
Ursa Major
In Greek Mythology, the hunter Callisto bore a child of Zeus named Arcas. In fury, Hera transformed Callisto into a great bear. Years later, Arcas became a hunter and he came across Callisto. He was about to kill her when Zeus intervened and cast both Callisto and Arcas into the heavens; creating the constellations of Ursa Major and Ursa Minor.
