The Daily Haiku

A world of five - seven - five. At one time daily, now kind of sporadic.

Current theme: P is for Persephone (from Greek Mythology)

For ABC Wednesday

Change of the seasons
Descent and rise through the path
to the underworld

Beware what you eat
Take food of the other realm
Only to remain

Six months of the year
Goddess of the Underworld
Then of the Harvest

Jagger wrote a song ...
Called Goddess in the Doorway.

You have a way with words for sure. My contribution this week is a pool. I invite you to come over and float around on my pool toy. - Margy

That poem reminds me of the way people used to eat, using seasonal foods. I'm sure it was a better way, but of course, we are now all dependent on the global economy and have no room at home to grow our own food.
