Orion is on of my favorite constellations. And I have seen the nebule close up.

Perfect O for ABC Wednesday!
You always amaze me with your wonderful haiku's.
Orion must be one of the most recognisable constellations in the sky - and one of the easiest to use to illustrate the rotation and movement of the earth!

I've looked many times at the stars and nebulae of Orion through my telescope. It's just fun to do!

Indeed. I think Orion probably is one of the most recognizable constellations. One of the astronomy books I have even uses Orion as a 'signpost' for finding other stars and constellations.
