I'm so glad to discover your blog! I love haiku and use it often on my blog! Certainly not as good as you, but I do try.
I've always thought the 5-7-5 was the only way to properly write a haiku, but I see a lot of other folks use more or less in each line.
I'm now going to put you in my blog roll. Have one other haiku writer there.
Drink a beer my friend.
Then drink a couple more, dude.
