The Daily Haiku

A world of five - seven - five. At one time daily, now kind of sporadic.

Current theme: The Causality of Chaos

Little butterfly
Flaps its wings in Antigua
And stirs up some dust

The swirling dust cloud
Causes a brown rat to sneeze
Which alerts the cat

The cat eats the rat
But gets bitten by the flea
That lived on the rat

The cat goes back home
None the wiser to its fate
And slowly grows sick

The poor cat passes
But not before the sickness
Spreads to its owners

The people travel
Unaware of their sick plight
And the sickness spreads

Now a plague unleashed
Spreads across the hemisphere
Mass epidemic

This is a story
How an innocent butterfly
Could kill a planet

(yep, i'm bored)

Are you Stephen King?
Are you related to him?
Or, are you just nuts?
