The Daily Haiku

A world of five - seven - five. At one time daily, now kind of sporadic.

Something Different...

This week's theme: Some Prose:

These wings of shadow cover all,
How much longer can a million eyes not see?
The breath of the world is changing,
And her heart beats more rapidly.
Melting icecaps and encroaching deserts,
Are just symptoms of a growing disease.
Could humanity be the poison?
Or just spectators in this calamity?
What if it's our warming Sun,
That is increasing its activity?
Then we sit and wait 'til the day is done,
Because we lose control over future possibilities.
